Call us to schedule. Online scheduling coming soon!
Q: What should I expect from my first visit?
A: Prior to your first visit, ensure you have all of the necessary documentation and any intake forms completed and signed. Having these ready allows us to focus entirely on your evaluation.
Insurance Card(s): For verification and billing.
Physician’s Referral: If required by your insurance plan.
Patient Intake Forms: Completed and signed.
Method of Payment: If your payment information has not already been submitted.
*Consider if your insurance plan requires "Prior Authorization" or a Physician's Signature on the Plan of Care.
Your physical therapist will review this documentation either in advance (if received early) or at the start of your session.
Next, we perform a comprehensive and thorough elevation to include:
Your medical history, medication, and current problems/complaints.
Clinical and hands-on measurements.
Physical performance measurements.
The physical therapist then performs a clinical assessment to develop a personalized Plan of Care. Together we set your therapy goals and schedule follow-up visits.
Q: What do I need for a home visit?
A: Not much. Mainly yourself, a safe, quite space, and your documentation.
Patient Documentation:
To ensure we can focus entirely on your evaluation, please have the following ready:
Insurance Card: For verification and billing.
Physician’s Referral: If required by your insurance plan.
Intake Forms: Completed and signed.
Method of Payment: If your payment information has not already been submitted.
*Consider if your insurance plan requires "Prior Authorization" or a Physician's Signature on the Plan of Care.
The Space:
We require roughly 10’ x 10’ of open floor space where we can move freely. This provides enough clearance around the treatment table (which measures 72” long by 27” wide) and ensures sufficient space for treatment. It’s also helpful to have seating available in the same space.
We’ll bring the rest. We arrive fully prepared with all the clinical equipment and tools needed for your session.
What to Wear:
Comfortable, loose athletic garments that breath and allow you to move freely without restriction. Layers that can be taken off to get to the areas we need to evaluate and treat.
Pets:
We are animal friendly and absolutely love pets. However, for your safety and ours, we encourage you to confine your pet to a separate room or kennel during our session.
Q: What is your service area?
A: See our service area and map on our website for more information.
Currently, we provide mobile physical therapy services to the Greater Billings Area to include the: West End, Heights, Downtown & North Side, South Side, and more.
Unsure? Give us a call at (406) 500-0707.
Q: How long are our sessions and how many will I need?
We prioritize quality over speed.
Initial Evaluation: Ranges from 60 to 90 minutes
Follow-up Sessions: Typically, 60 minutes (longer as needed)
The number of visits is highly variable and is based on your specific needs, complexity of your condition, speed of recovery, and goals.
Q: Do you offer Telehealth?
A: Yes. We provide telehealth services through a HIPAA-secure video platform.
Our remote sessions are designed for “Collaborative Recovery.” With your consent, we encourage caretakers or loved ones to participate in the session along with you. Having your support system involved ensures everyone is aligned on your plan and recovery.
Q: Do you communicate with my medical doctor?
A: Absolutely. We believe in “Collaborative Care.” We keep your physician informed by sending them a digital copy of your Plan of Care and Progress Notes.
Q: Are my medical records secure?
A: Absolutely. We use a HIPPA-compliant, security encrypted EMR ensuring your Protected Health Information remains protected and secure.
Q: What is PhysioWorks’ cancellation policy?
A: We value your time and our providers' schedules. We require a 24-hour notice for all cancellations. Late cancellations will be charged a flat fee of $100.00 to the payment method on file. No-shows will be charged the full session rate.
Q: What is "Same-Day Only" scheduling?
A: Consistency is key to successful rehabilitation. However, we understand that life can sometimes make a standing commitment difficult. To protect the integrity of our schedule and ensure all patients have access to care, patients with three or more late cancellations or no-shows will be moved to Same-Day Scheduling.
How it Works: You may call our office at the start of any business day to check for openings. If a slot is available that day, we will be happy to see you! This allows you to receive care when your schedule permits without the risk of further cancellation fees.
